Cultivating Harmony is my life’s thesis. Memoiring has lead me from despair rooted in childhood trauma, to feeling blessed. Or as my dear husband Gunter puts it, realizing things happened for me, not to me. Perhaps the ultimate leap of faith, and my arts attest to the bliss such leaps might seed.
As a little girl I felt which colors wanted to play with each other. I loved to follow along and learned to trust the colour I instinctively reached for. Occasionally, I would second guess it and would feel sad, like I had betrayed us. As I write this I realize this was me aligning with the Tao.
Living in a culture co-opted by busy can make it hard to dive into one’s consciousness. I hope my stories help you to know yourself better, for I believe this is where liberation lies. So many memoirists fed my soul when its embers had almost died out. I humbly offer up my arts for the benefit or all sentient beings, mountains, seas & streams
